After an hour, it will be the 52nd National Day of Malaysia.
After achieve 52 years of independence,
Malaysia had grown to a developing country.
When i was in secondary school,
we were celebrating it every year in our school.
Decorating classrooms in a creative way in conjunction with this celebration.
When i was in matriculation program,
we were celebrating it in our multipurpose hall with lots of performances from different tutorial class.
I was one of the emcees on that event with other three malay friends.
This year,
the theme for the 52nd National Day is "1 Malaysia".
Well,
no matter what the theme is,
National Day still National Day,
it is just a concept what Malaysia government is working towards to.
You can easily listen from people saying "1 Malaysia".
However, how many of us know the meaning of it.
Hmmmm,
i don't think young people nowadays will take the initiative to know it.
Well,
52nd National Day of Malaysia, what it means to you?
A day to celebrate?
A day to relax when no need to work or attend class?
A day to go for shopping where I can enjoy Merdeka discount?
How many of us feel thankful and appreciate the efforts that our leaders had put to make independence of Malaysia a reality on this special day?
p/s:
I just finish enjoying the fire cracker show from my room.
Never thought that i can witness a fire cracker show while sitting in my room.
This is the first time i spend National Day in PJ since I was here from 2006.
Happy National Day!
